We have just completed the mineral Wavellite.
The next planned minerals to add are Scheelite, Powellite, and Wulfenite. We plan on getting these in by the end of next week for the Tucson show. We also hope to have all the glossary entries completed by then as well.
We added the first video of a series of short films we are putting together. This is about the finding of Agate in a new deposit near New York City. Please visit our video page at http://www.minerals.net/mineralvideos.aspx.

This week we added the following:
We completed editing the Glossary terms starting with Q and R, including updating the content and links, and adding pictures. Now on to "S", which contains the most phrases of all letters in the glossary!
Take a look at this video on CNN, which shows a whopping 25 Lb faceted Emerald:

The Emerald, which is from Brazil, is definitely large, and it has the emerald-green color. However, it lacks transparency and is not gem-quality, so it is not quite as outstanding as the video makes it out to be. Still in all, it's mammoth size is unprecedented, and the Emerald crystal from which it was faceted must have been quite a piece.
